Our Founder

Karamo Jawara is a professional basketball player and the founder of Save a Sole. Born and raised in Bergen, Norway, Karamo has deep roots in Gambia. His journey led him to North Carolina Central University in the USA, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology while on an athletic scholarship.

Over the past decade, Karamo has played professional basketball across various European countries, allowing him to build strong connections within numerous industries.

Currently, Karamo is focused on business projects that leverage his international network. He is also highly passionate about bringing awareness to Gambia and other areas around the globe that are in need of support.
